Roundabout stalled in Historic Placerville | Community

Placerville, CA - Friends of Historic Hangtown prevail in recent roundabout decision.  The El Doroado County Superior Court’s February 14 ruling granted the Petition by the Friends of Historic Hangtown on every single issue.

Before the roundabout project can go forward, an Environmental Impact Report must be prepared to study potential impacts to historic resources and its effect on urban decay as well as other impacts listed in the ruling.

The effect of the ruling will result in the requirement to set aside and vacate the Project approvals and the Mitigated Negative Declaration until further study is completed.
